Default The Lost MJ

Years ago, 1987 to be exact, I ordered myself a new MJ for a demo. I got to do that a few times a year. Had 13 in all.

One in particular was an 87 4.0, auto trans, 4wd, 2 tome longbed. Maroon and silver.

It arrived at the dealership while I was on vacation and they sold it!!
Old guy and his wife had it. Then, it disappeared and they passed away.

Fast forward to 2014 and a guy who has a towing business, and used to work for me, called and told me about a real nice MJ that he towed for another friend of mine. Had been in a warehouse.

I contacted the guy who bought it and he said it was funny because it was maroon and silver and had paperwork in the glovebox with the original owner's name and one of my business cards.

I was Service Manager at the dealership. The first owners had my card in the glovebox with the manuals etc. We serviced it.
