Default What to do about a body squeak or creak

I have a 2018 Cherokee Trailhawk as stock as it can be which I have owned for two years. It has just over 37,000 miles. This morning I noticed a squeaking or creaking sound as I was driving. It seemed to be mostly on the drivers side as I went over small rough spots on paved streets. I tried swerving around a little to see if that made the sound and it didn't seem to make any difference. I did a cursory inspection and found nothing except a small piece of sage brush type weed attached underneath which was very easily removed, but, as expected, that did not fix it. It sounds like it needs to be lubricated, but I didn't think there is any place to lubricate this vehicle. Finally I got out and rocked it back and forth and could really hear it clearly, again like there were some points that need to be lubricated. Are there lubrication points on the vehicle that I'm not aware of? Has anyone had similar problems and been able to fix them? I will really appreciate any help anyone can provide on getting this fixed.

TIA

There are no lube points on the KLs. From your description I’m not sure what the cause may be. The front struts have been an issue with some KLs, not sure if this might be your issue. Best to take it to a reputable dealer.

Whatever you do, do NOT use any silicone spray on any rubber bushings. It will work for a bit, but long term it will dry them out. Use a good rubber grease or some Fluid Film.

Thanks. I ended up spraying some lubricant around the bushings up on the drivers side front and got rid of the squeak.

Hi - Where exactly did you do this? Can you show a picture? Have the same issue - Thanks!

I sprayed pretty much everyplace I could see where there were bushings and moving parts behind the front drivers side wheel. Sorry I don't have photos. Since doing that I have just returned from a 1300 mile trip including several miles on dirt roads and a few sketchy trails and still no return of the noises.
