I'm pretty sure you haven't read this as it got buried in this forum.

It's now right on top for everyone to see. Carry on.

My wife and I currently have a Ford Edge for her dd. I want to get her something 4x4. Any of you with a KL have kids? Is there room in the backseat for car seat and all that goes along with chillens? I haven't actually seen one up close yet to see for myself.

I see I should have asked this elsewhere. Sorry. Maybe a mod could delete or move this to the right place.

seats 3, rear seats move back n forth, in case u gotta short arm, or need to lay the seats down etc.. rear center console can be flipped up or down.. making middle seat, airbags on sides..
so the answer is yes.. nice trunk/cargo area, with a happy little cargo net.. makes for easy arrangement of kiddos accessories..
but its best to take a look yerself..

There's lots of room in the back seat. Not only would you be able to get a couple of car seats back there, but you'd even have good room to strap them in if they need help.

My critique, though, is that while the rear seats are spacious--you can get two adults back there with no trouble or three kids with the center console flipped up--you don't have an enormous amount of room behind there. It's no minivan, of course, but a long trip with 2+ kids and lots of luggage? Not happening unless you pack super light.

If your kids are older and more self-sufficient, they'll have no trouble getting in or out by themselves (unlike some SUVs where the kids have to basically climb into them and get covered in slush and mud).

The KL is definitely worth your time to check out with the kids on hand.

I have 9 vehicles including an $90K RV and I don't have any payments...on anything...

I also have a Cherokee xj with $25k in it and a yj with $35k in it..

Can't use your theory of look at my old xj it's better than your new trail hawk mentality...I mean really...you have to be over 16 because you have your license.

There must be something about the KL that attracts you since you posted on this thread...better yet I guess you can afford an xj but not a KL.

KL guys and gals....great vehicles keep poring up some action shots.
