Cold transmission?

Cold transmission?
I have a 2014 Grand Cherokee with the 3.0 Ecodiesel. I know its cold outside now here in Ohio but my transmission seems to be running pretty cold. Today I went almost 15 miles in stop and go driving and my transmission only got up to 160. Why is it running this low?
Also - service 4 wheel drive light came on a week or so ago and then went off? Don't know if this would have anything to do with it?

Welcome, but this is a Jeep Cherokee forum, not a Grand Cherokee forum. The engines and transmissions are completely different, no similarities. You should ask your questions in a Grand Cherokee forum, like this one: https://www.jeepgarage.org/forums/20...iesel-3-0.222/
