That is reminiscent of when the battery failed in my 2014 Cherokee. Granted, it failed in December of 2019, so it had almost 6 years on it. It was roughly $200 for a replacement battery then.
What happens is you will usually be able to jump the vehicle to get it to start, but when you remove the jumper cables, the computer cannot sense 12 volts at the battery, and will shut off the vehicle. It's stupid, but just how it is.
At this point, you may just have to buy a new battery, or really put the screws to Chrysler to give you a new battery. It is a cheap solution compared to the diagnostics they will keep going through trying to solve the problem.

I showed this video to another Jeep dealer and they suspect it's a "relay" that needs replaced. They said they've encountered this on another 2020 Cherokee, and someone else even posted they had a similar problem that needed a relay replaced.
I have an appointment Friday for the maintenance. I hope that solves my problem.

OK, it was cold last night and I was able to record my problem. I'm going to show this to the dealer and perhaps Chrysler (or whatever they call themselves these days).
Thoughts? Does this change anyone's opinions?

I bought a used (53K miles) 2020 Jeep Cherokee Limited last September 4th . Drove it plenty with no faults. The start/stop was routinely disabled after I started the engine. I don't really care for that feature... esp in stop/go traffic. I frequeuntly take long out of town trips (200-400 mi).
On October 14th the outside temp was in the 60s. The next morning the temp had fallen to the teens. It was parked outside because of another vehicle in the garage. I used the remote start on the fob and my GF took it down the road about 1/2 mile to get coffee. She shut it off, went inside, and when she came back out, she experienced the exact same symptoms. She told me about it (after hiking it from the store back home). I went with my tool bag and found many other bells and alarms that you experienced and showed in your video.
I called a tow truck and when the guy arrived, he performed a few checks, and finally determined that it was a dead battery or electrical malfunction.
So, I had him tow it to the Jeep dealer. They did their tests and concluded that the battery was dead so they replaced it.
Fast forward 4 months (parking in the garage every day).
On Sunday 2/20, I drove to Casper, WY. The temp was in the mid 50's. Overnight the temp fell to the single digits, Jeep started just fine. I let it warm up then drove about 1/2 mile to my worksite and went about my work.
About 6 hours later, my work was finished. Temps remained in the single digits all day. Went to start it, and repeat of that morning in October-Identical behavior of a dead battery (bells and whistles of all sorts). Then, to start it again I used the tip of the fob to touch the "start engine."
All of the errors went away but the service engine remained on for the entire drive home.
With a lot of research, I have read on other forums, This seems to be a cold weather issue of faulty relays in the 2020 model.
I have an appt on Wednesday.

I hear Jeep knows about this problem, but has yet to issue a formal recall. I just with they informed their dealers better as the first dealership basically threw up their hands.
Another thread describing the same symptoms, and saying it's the start/stop relay. I would suspect in cold whether a relay is sticking on, and draining the battery which ends up looking like a bad battery.

There is a TSB on this, but I can find the full version of it.

also on the informing dealers.
No..
Dealers arent smart enough to read their terminals that have the up to date bulletins because they dont care, they , to their credit, make a lot of bulletins for really niche ****, and the dealers likely ignore that stream of new infor because well they dotn care. Whos gonna fire them for not reading it lol, you?
