Lightbulb 2015 Jeep Cherokee Latitude off roading

I recently took my 2015 Jeep Cherokee to upper Michigan to explore some trails. The jeep did great with the exception of some electrical issues after traversing some water logged trails. I'm looking for ways to make my Latitude more of a trail rated Jeep without buying a new Jeep. I'm open to any suggestions. I've already upgraded the stock tires to AT tires, but I need to do some more to it so it can withstand driving through a waterlogged trail.

Pick up a tube of dielectric grease and hit every connector on the Jeep. It should have weather tight connectors but whoknows.
