Challenging me then calling me a troll? I don't know how else you're suppose to see that? I would hope you've seen my posts enough to know me well enough that I don't over react unless its for a good reason.
I'm not sure I've ever seen you react this way for sure.
Anyway, it's water under the bridge. I think we know where everyone stands now.
The wife decided on a KL for a daily driver, mostly for our Canadian winters. At first I didn't like it. It looks funny and the body lines are way too smooth. Too many comfort features for a true Jeep.
I drive a TJ and a Dodge Cummins 4x4. Never really liked the Cherokee. Well... this Trail Hawk really surprised me!
The first trail ride wasn't too extreme, mainly because the wife didn't want to scratch it and we were wheelin alone.
I was really impressed! A little stiff but very capable for a factory Jeep. We had it on three wheels a few times, could have some suspension mods but good ground clearance and for a 4 banger (yea, I know - she wanted fuel economy) it held its own pretty good.
The only bad part (other than there isnt much aftermarket for it) is the proximity system. It kept going off when we were close to the ground on steep approach angles.

goeslike a tank... your still not in exxtreme enough turf.. it will go up and over worse than the places you posted hehehehehe.. im totally happy with mines off road ability..
im trying to find someone! seems that all ive talked too have written the check with their mouth but refuse to cash it in! lol
o this is better, thats better.. all the stfus and shut ups.. im sick of reading the posts were folks knock it.. and swear the one they have is better.. but they balk when the weekend comes around at the idea of actually hitting a trail.
and most have not even driven 1 of these things..
like i said.. i have a CJ with a 350 in it outside.. had a 96 xj sport.. a wrangler sahara 08 jk.. and i wheeled the **** out of them all..
so far.. stock vs stock.. hands down.. KL TrailHawk has out performed them both so far.. deep mud has yet to be tested.. i want at least 12 inches deep with at least 50 yards of mud..
the CJ out side.. cant compare.. its not stock at all.. but it would flip faster than the KL for sure.. i can say that much..
my friend has an XJ but its in such poor condition it wouldnt be a fair test.. plus it isnt an Up Country..
Wind Rock Park! 2 hours away from me in Oliver Springs TN just west of Knoxville..
i just need another jeeper with an Up Country!

"My V6 TrailHawk sits in 7 on the highway going 71mph. Average 14.3 mostly highway driving."
Looks like a stock KL will never see 30mpg either.
Does anyone think a 4000 pound 4x4 with a V6 is going to get vastly improved mileage over an XJ?
im seeing about 27 on average, in my 4 banger. when my foot isnt to the floor.. i did see 29 on the interstate, at 65..cruise ctrl was on..
today, was a low.. 19.. because i was having too much fun tonight..

Over the life of mine (~10000 miles) I'm averaging 22.5. Driving to work and back and just typical driving (35-45 mph with stoplights every few miles) I get around 23. I average 25 on the highway (65-75 mph). With a kayak on top I average 24 highway. With a bass boat in tow I average 15 highway. The best I've seen is 30 and that was averaging 55 on flat flat flat roads with no traffic and no stopping.
That's in a v6 trailhawk. So yes, I do see a vast improvement over my XJ which saw 23 (averaged 17-18) at best when it was stock.
