Default 15" rim

I am trying to help a friend with their KL and I'm an MJ/XJ guy. Anybody know if a 15" steel rim will clear the brakes? I'm trying to give them a full size spare tire and my old 17" alloy rims don't clear them because of how thick the rim is but my spare steel rims are only 6mm thick.

Seeing how little clearance there is with the 17", I doubt you'll find a 15" that will clear. KL has a different bolt spacing than the XJ/MJ, btw.

Thank you for being the one person to reply. I have already ordered a 17" steel rim as finding a used 235-70-15 is apparently a difficult task. That being said the bolt spacing never gave me an issue and except for maybe a depth issue I believe the steel rim would have been wide enough as the 17 from my mj was over an inch thick casting compared to the 6mm steel rim.
