I have a set of 15" 5 star rims from a wrangler, will 33x 12.5, thornbirds fit on them?

 

Do you know how wide they are? If they are 7 inches I think that would be risky, if 8 less risky, and if 10 (which I doubt) you'll be good. I don't run 12.5 inch tire though, so someone else should know better then me

 

You need to know what size the rims are, rims sizes are 15x7, 15x8, 15x8.5, 15x9, 15x10, 15x12, 15x14.
The 33x12.5 15 thornbirds will fit on all of those sizes, they maybe a little to wide for the 15x7s and a little to narrow to hold the bead when aired down on the 15x10 and up.

 

yes they will fit but why would you buy thornturds they might be the worst offroad tire ever.

i can get them for $100 with about 75% tread left

 

I have (5) stock Jeep Rims and they are 15x6 - measured them at an auto shop with a wheel width measurement tool..
Also have a build sheet from the year it was made (found it hiding behind the door panel, on the passenger side)

obviously Ive upgraded since then, cause i have 31x10.5 on 15s and that wasnt happening on 6" wide rims...

 

OK, I guess your point is that I forgot that someone made a 15x6 rim? I was trying to show the OP that 15 inches isn't the wheel size, it is the wheel diameter. A wheel size shows the diameter and the width. I've used 16x4.5 rims on a CJ2A running 600x16s.
