shopping around
Hi guys,
I'm shopping around for a daily/family truckster camp machine.
I have sorta settled on an XJ, as price meets performance, vs availability.
still shopping around locally to see the price range of the "best" year
But my 1st goal is daily driver, super mild off road (fire road level), room for the family and aftermarket support. Don't care so much about off road superiority but do want capable and reliable.
In the future as my son gets older, hes 2 now... this will probably go more and more overland adventure camping... but that's years and a slow burner
Any advice would kick ***.
Threads to read about common problems, easy fixes, entry level BS please feel free to post them. this is a huge forum and Im new to Jeep so I don't really know what I'm looking for...

Good luck w/your search. Take your time. I'd look for a '96-99 model, and get the cleanest one you can afford. Rust can cost a small fortune to repair.
