Hi, my name is Blake. I have had a 1996 jeep grand Cherokee Laredo as my every day drive for a while now. and i have never had any problems up until now. i know my transfer case needs rebuilt because if i put it in 4 wheel neutral or 4 wheel low i hear a bag grinding and i don't have any gears. it only drives in 4 wheel high. and its never had a problem but now it will commonly shake or shutter when taking off. especially when taking off going up hill, while turning, or when i give it a little gas. like i said i already know that i need to rebuild the transfer case but is that what is causing the shutter or is something else wrong?
