Default Rookie here saying hello and asking a simple question

Hello everyone. I'm going today to pick up my first Jeep. Its a stock 98 XJ 4.0L 4WD. Tranny quit about 4years ago and it hasnt been touched since. For $200 I can't go wrong right. It was his DD when it quit and the motor was running fine. Hopefully by tonight the motor will be running fine again.
I have been floating around here for a week or so since I decided on the purchase just to learn as much as I could. One question I seem to always have is about the abbreviations used throught this site. I have been able to decifer some but not all.(hence my use of DD earlier )
Would you folks be willing to explain some of the more common ones please? Thanks

ww = weekend wheeler or weekend warrior depending on who you talk to
aal = add a leaf
RC= Rough Country
RE= Rubicon Express

Just a few I can think of. Any you have questions about? Welcome to the forum!

If it's been sitting for 4 years, you need to change the oil and get rid of any old gas in the tank before trying to start it. After changing the oil and addressing the fuel issue, disable the spark, and spin the engine over until you see oil pressure on the gauge. Then reconnect spark and try to start.

As for the abbreviations, read this: >->https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f9/acronyms-3599/
