HEY all,
GREAT and really active site here. Been lurking around since I got my '96 XJ a few yrs back. Haven't been all that active. Just trying to catch on to the quirks of these XJ's. Seems the main issue is the cooling system. Refurbed mine a few days ago using some good parts info and tricks of the trade I picked up here. Made a BIG diff. I've been maintaining and repairing vehicles (my family's,friends,total strangers,etc.) for too many yrs but not for living. NOT enough patience for that but then again I can't afford for someone else to do mine so.............

Anyway,I HOPE to be able to provide some helpful info to others sometime.

ol"blue,I do spend ALOT of time on vehicles. Got two at the garage right now. But this XJ is our "go to" vehicle so I'm wanting to make it as reliable as I can. Hence the return to CF.
