Hi, I'm about to sell my Ford Ranger to pick up a white 1997 Jeep Cherokee, I've been into them for awhile but I have another project but the other day I seen a green cherokee lifted roof rack, just looked awesome so I decided to find one. Seen the white one the other day at a slum dealership, test drove it today and hopefully tomorrow I pick it up, all stock for the most part but once I get it I will clean it up and post pictures. Yep, like I said I've always been interested in them, I never get into anything 4x4 or anything lifted, or any kind of missing trip, but a light lifted cherokee on some tires just makes me want to grab the camping gear and me and the family hit the road and go get lost. I don't hard to explain.

Regarding the newer body style (97-01), A lot of people consider 97-99 as good years. Other people also consider 91-95 as good years but a lot of people swear by 87-90 (renix) too.

It's actually all about personal preference.

Did a couple things today, the front grill was white I decided to paint it bumper black, the passenger side brake light didn't work, got it replaced, just found out the reverse lights don't work but will take care of it tomorow
