Hey guys,
I picked up a 1988 Cherokee Laredo today. Got it for what seems to be a good price. They said it has a recently rebuilt trans, new gaskets and seals in the motor, new waterpump, alternator, radiator, and starter. However, it needs new trans lines, a kickdown cable, T-case linkage hooked up, starter wired up, and the front driveshaft put it. I can't really get it up my driveway on a trailer so I had it dropped off at a local shop this afternoon. My plan is to hit up a JY in the morning and take them a set of trans cables and a kickdown cable and have them get the jeep to driving condition for me. I'll finish up the rest of the little stuff as time allows (I'm working FT and going to school, I'm sure some of you know how that goes!) Anyway, here's the only pic I've got so far:
How much should I look to pay for the trans lines and kickdown cable at the JY? Any ballpark estimates?
