Hi from Michigan,

Joined the forum to get some help on my '00 Jeep Cherokee idle issues.
Usually pretty good at this stuff, but a bit lost on this issue.

Thanks!

Can you describe the issue a bit? Check engine light on? Also, what part of MI? There are quite a few Michiganders on here all over the state.

Hi,

I posted it here:
https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/00-...h-idle-209419/

From The Mid-Michigan area - Saginaw

It's really wierd. As your sitting at stop lights or just sitting in the garage, the truck just shakes like it's got a dead cylinder.
Rev it up, and it disappears.

Unplugged the injectors one by one to narrow down a cylinder, and they all change the idle.

Welcome from the murder mitten! I'm in the Hastings area, did you check for a vacuum leak?

Yes, so far I haven't found any lines off or broken. All rubber caps on the intake are solid, and no hissing.

Pulling 15in/HG at idle.

Thanks and Me too! I just want this to get fixed, on the road, and onto my next project vehicle.
I've got a Merc Mystique that's needing a timing belt, and a '67 Caddy patiently awaiting attention for the upcoming cruise season.
