Newbie here
Looking to maybe pick up an XJ as a winter vehicle, I wanted to get on a forum and get some information, as well as just mingle with some other XJ owners..
Basic about me: I'm 19 years old, born and raised in Northern Virginia. Currently I'm in school to be an automotive technician, and I'm a lube tech at a VW dealer.

My jeep is as old as you, and I had it for 9 years in December.Its a 2 door 5 speed.2 inch lift.Not many problems..Basic tune ups...(HAHA)Recently I replaced all 4 ball joints,3 out of 4 Tie rods.Gas Tank,Radiater,(gas tank and rad. had hole)Brake lines in rear ..(rear driven shaft 2 days ago)All that stuff in less than a year.. Dont let that ween you away from cherokees...All consider I Bought with 148,000miles...now 234,000 not bad..
