hey guys, just picked up a 89 XJ 4 door. runs good, just needs U joints which in hoping is my rolling clunk from the rear end, just happened suddenly yesterday when going up a driveway. gonna do axle seals, plugs wires, fresh fluids etc. Can't wait to take the family out!

Welcome to CF and to the Jeep family! If you ever need help with engine stuff, be sure to mention your Cherokee is Renix. Us guys with '87-90 rigs have a different engine management system than the later models.
