Finally a Jeep owner
Hey folks, wanted to stop in and say hi to everyone. I have recently fulfilled a dream of owning a Jeep. I've always loved the old CJ's and the old Cherokee Chief's. I recently found one on Craigslist and it's now sitting in my garage. A red 1978 Jeep Cherokee S. It's got the 3 spd auto transmission and quadratrac 4wd system. A 360 v8 sits under the hood. As with any vehicle of this age it's not without it's issues. A small amount of rust in the drivers floorboard and the wiring is a mess. The interior is dirty and smells foul. This is a project vehicle. Not a complete show quality restoration, but I plan to restore it to a useable vehicle.
