Default New from Virginia

Hey there. New XJ owner Fredericksburg Area.]
I bought this XJ in a bit of rough shape and it needs to be reliable first with an eye towards becoming my outdoor adventure vehicle in the future.
Needs some TLC:
Headliner, one door lock doesn't work, brakes, stuff like that.
going to make a trip to the junk yard soon as I can to start pulling parts and fixing it up.
Previous owner had wire instead of a air cleaner - not me...

Welcome man. Im from the Fredericksburg area also. Well technically Caroline County, But close enough. Where it says Wheeling Neighborhoods, Check out the Mid Atlantic section there's a Whole Thread on Fredericksburg cherokee guys and surrounding counties that are on this forum. Good luck with fixing it up. If you haven't caught the Jeep virus you will soon. Lol.

Welcome to the site. You may want to check to see if the power door lock actuator inside of the door of your Jeep Cherokee has power to it. If it doesn't, check the fuse and also the wire harness between the door and body for the Jeep to see if there's a broken or a frayed wire that could be causing the issue. Hope this helps you out.

We carry brake rotors, pads and door lock actuators on our website if you need help with anything.
