I’ve had my XJ for quite some time, figured I’d join the forums in case I ever needed to ask any questions.

Over the course of owning it, I’ve completely refreshed the ignition system, fuel injectors, all new front end, brand new tires, other general maintenance like filters and fluids etc...battery.. I hate how there is no inline fuel filter on the later models, but it looks like the fuel pressure regulator basically has/is a built in filter.

Don’t have much in the way of plans, I will put a sound system in, tint it, and maybe some rims. I like the kind of stock look and it’s not a 4x4 so no lifts or anything.







I’ve had several people approach me wanting to buy it. Not gonna happen.

I did also have a ‘98 XJ that I sold not too long ago. Was a good truck, probably shouldn’t have sold it, but it did have like 240K miles and more than it’s share of electrical gremlins.

Haha, I actually don’t think it’s bad. It’s the exact same as yours (OEM, I’m guessing?) just a different shade of tan it appears.

Obviously looks better when mounted correctly, but I don’t want to cover the subs. Since I carry a lot of crap in the truck and the streets aren’t the greatest out here, I just tucked it between the subs.. Not the best visually but, it keeps stuff from flying around.

I like the rubber cargo mat you’ve got.

The retractable ones used in the '96 and down were so much cooler. LOL.
If you XJ is a '99 and up the "tan" in your Jeep is the same as my '00. Technically called Camel.
My rear cargo mat is nothing special. Just the Rugged Ridge one.
If you use your tied downs on the cargo bay floor and want a mat too try to find the Jeep one.

With my mat would have to slit it to expose the tie downs. Kinda defeats the purpose if you ask me.
Those "hatches" seal nice when closed but still let you access the tie downs if needed.

it really shouldn’t make a difference sonically if the subs are under the cover. Low frequencies are Omni directional. At most you’ll experience a very, and I mean very slight difference in volume. If your wanting to keep stuff from getting stolen subs would be the first thing I’d hide.
