Hello, group(s). I joined this site because I just bought an old SJ '82 Cherokee Jeep I6 that needs some work and I know nothing about Jeeps.

I'm confused because nothing I've seen on the forum refers to the SJs. What am I missing? I know many Cherokee models are similar, but there seems to be site group discussions for all models except the SJ here. What am I missing? Please direct me to the appropriate place for SJ discussions and tech advice.

Right now I really need help with the vacuum lines required on a car that seems to have none, and where they should be connected. My car seems to have less power than I would expect and I think it's because of missing vacuum hoses, especially the one to the spark advance can on the distributor (capped) and one at the top of the carb (open), and 4 others on the manifold - one capped and 3 open. The emission equipment has been deleted. So, there are several vacuum ports open and some capped.
I need help.
