Default New to me jeep owner

Hey, I'm Rick, some call me crash. I've been lurking around this forum for a week or two after buying my 91 xj, and the wealth of information has been very helpful in just getting it to run right and give me ideas for mods, my rig is mostly stock with the exception of a aftermarket radio and the PO's sagging headliner removal. With a custom blue bungee cord hood retainer. I'm a truck driver by trade so when I have time and finances to do upgrades I'll make a build thread on it. If someone could please direct me to a thread on putting full sized 1/2 ton axles under one of these that would be helpful. Search bar has not tu

rned up much. Thanks

Hi, Crash and welcome! I too gained that nickname in a motorcycle safety course. Laid down that practice bike so many times but still passed the class

I like the Jeep!

Thanks, I earned it because I was being stupid in my 79 mercury zephyr, I kept have exhaust problems with it so I bolted a glass pack on to the fender and ran some flex pipe to it with a turn out tail pipe, thought it looked like a tractor and smoked like one too... then one 6 foot embankment later couple of 4 foot bounces on the sides, and crash was my name. Didn't get hurt and surprisingly the thing still ran, just wouldn't go anywhere when the rear axle is 6 feet away and at a 45 degree angle.
