Default New guy from South Carolina

Hi all, I just picked up a 2001 Cherokee. Fairly high mileage, so I got it pretty cheap. I have this solely for off-road, so as soon as I got tags for it I got online and started to just empty every pocket.

I live near Columbia, so if anyone knows any good places to throw mud and sand around here, I'm all ears. I'll be at the local Jeep club meeting on Monday.

Lift kit and bumpers are in the mail...will go with tires as soon as it's lifted and I'm ready to go.

Good resource here, thanks.

I got a 3" lift kit from Rusty's offroad and a front/rear bumper combination from Nate's 4x4. I have some time to wait for the parts and then to have the lift installed so I'm shopping for tires on craigslist. There seems to be a lot of folks who get size XX tires then decide to upgrade and they want to get rid of the old tires for next to nothing. Since this Jeep will rarely be on the road, some used tires should still last me a couple of years.

As for photos, under my profile name on the left is a link to a photo album of 1 picture, nothing special, just a stock SE with bald street tires.

I have a donut sized spare tire, so if anyone around Columbia has a 15x7 wheel of any design they want to get rid of, let me know. It's not worth the cost of mailing one. Same goes for those center caps for the stock steel wheels that say Jeep on them. I'm missing two, so I'm looking for a set of those (cheap) as well.
