My Intro
OK, so I've had a couple posts with no formal intro, so here goes,
I came across a 96 XJ in bone stock condition. It was in really good shape and I scored on the deal. My pops is into trail runs with his group of Wranglers, but the XJ fit more into my family's lifestyle with the extra cargo room for kids and toys etc.
Soon after, installed an RE 3.5" lift with the full rear leaf pack. RE mono shocks, a pro comp stabilizer, all new ball joints and a Rusty's adj track bar. Got the 15x8 Pro Comp D window black steel wheels and Pro Comp Xtreme A/T 31x10.50 tires. Did a full tune up and bolted in a Dyno Max exhaust. Tinted the windows and did a full detail on the inside. She cleaned up pretty nice.
This XJ is used to tow behind our motorhome and the occasional trail run. It's no extreme off roader, just a semi DD, so the upgrades fit what I was planning on using it for. Here's some before and afters. I also fabed up some upper rear shock mounts after both bolt broke off on each side, as well as a spare tire rack. Next is paint, just can't decide what color yet.
Thanks for looking!
