Just bought a 1997 XJ Sport last night. Also own a 2008 JK Rubicon Unlimited. The JK is headed into storage/garage for the winter and going through even more transformation so I bought the XJ to get me through the winter and as a second vehicle.

I have always been a fan of XJs and glad I found this little gem. Nice lookin forum you guys and gals have here.

and because we are all the picture book kind of people...

Nice JK, thing looks like a beast. Any plans for the XJ or leaving it stock?

I'm from Maine too. Leeds to be specific, where are you from?

thanks the JK is my pride and joy and even more is being done to it. actually changing out the armor and flares this winter to some a little wider to accommodate the legalities up here so the JK will be going through a Poison Spyder Transformation.

I'm in Waldoboro, ME and work in Camden. Grew up here and recently moved back after 9 years in Florida.

i do have plans to beef the XJ up a little but nothing too extreme for now as i bought it for my winter vehicle primarily. i started a thread in tech for a little guidance... https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/lift-tires-67127/

the lights on the front stinger are Lightforce 240 XGT. love the Lightforce brand... they're BRIGHT and not to mention you can adjust the beam patterns. 170 Strikers and i also have a set of 3 140 Lance which i plan on buying 1 or 2 more to run across the top.

which RUBICON decal were you referring to? the side shot was with my old design.... here's my current.... (i design these for fun and have em cut out locally or by a forum vendor... these i think are my 3rd design)

the armor is by Off Road Evolution. but i will be removing this armor and trading in for Poison Spyder Customs with wider flares to cover the tires more.
