I'm new and am looking to get my first xj next week for around 4-7 g's here are some of the ones i have selected to check out next week along with as much details i can gather, any advice would be excellent seeing as i dont know my *** from my face when it comes to unforseen mechanical issues that may sooner or later present themselves, thanks! The black 97 XJ(135000miles): This is a 1997 Jeep Cherokee sport. It has a 6" Toughcountry long arm lift. It has 17" rims with 33" Goodyear Wrangler Kevlar tires. Good strong running motor. Serviced on schedule. It has a Clarion stero with CD, USB and auxilary cord hook ups.
The Red 2000 XJ (13100)New tires.4 inch Suspention Lift kit with quick disconnects. 4.0 engine. New stearing box and pump. Runs and drives great. Classic Edition. Air blows ice cold. Power windows and locks.

 

What is the asking price for each one???

 

The black is 5000, the red is 5400.

 

crawl under both of them and look for any sign of oil....wetness, wheres it coming from... also test drive and do crank to crank fig 8's listen for sounds....and do you mean 135kmi and 131kmi and price is key...id buy anything with 13 on the clock... : )

 

test drive both and have a mechanic look at it first...black if you ask me...

oh and i have a mechanic coming with me, i just mainly wanna know what YOU guys personally would offer for these 2, i know its hard to say from just the pics. but just a estimate.

 

when they're litfted with rims and tires its no longer kelly blue book... no matter what low ball em with cash : ), are they both auto? do they have abs?.... pretty sure the models with abs came with a bit better axle... but i need some back up on that, personally id go black cause it looks like a better litft...

 

both auto, not sure if there abs but im checking out the black one tomorrow.
