Default Jeep 4.0

Good day all. I have a 2003 Jeep Laredo with the 4.0 motor. I don’t use all the time. I started the Jeep up today. I had it running for about 20 minutes. It started to overheat out of the radiator cap. The temp gauge showed about 190 to 210. Put a new thermostat in about 6 months ago. Any ideas on the problem. Thanks for the help

210 is normal operating temperature for a 4.0l. The cap might just be bad.

I replaced the cap and it’s still overheating through the cap and the tank. Temperature gauge didn’t move at all
