Engine: 4.0 6 cylinder
jeep still overheating need help please!!!
Put a new motor and head in my Cherokee and new water pump and I let it idle and after 15 minutes it beep and buries the temp needle

Was the coolant boiling over? Or are you saying it's overheating simply by the gauge?

How long since you replaced the thermostat? Sounds like it's stuck closed, as it takes about 10-15 minutes to get to normal temp just idling.
