Introducing myself
Greetings...
Bought my 2001 Cherokee Sport 4x4 in 2001 and now am getting around to modifying it.
I go by the name restoring, and will post my start to my build thread in a moment.
Very glad to have found such a big community devoted to the XJ!

build thread
I deleted the build thread and the photo as I asked questions in it and I've been told that isn't acceptable here.
I will update it later.
In the meantime, I'll continue to lurk, reading about the trials and successes and learning what I can.
This is my 20014 Cherokee Sport 4x4 that I've owned since 2001--->

Don't just lurk!
If you've got a question or something you don't understand, feel free to post a thread!
Just make sure you stick it in the right section. Don't worry if you misplace it, I can move it for you!

Thanks - that photo was taken after it was repaired. 3 deer committed suicide one night last year.
Other than a worn spot on the driver floor mat, a sagging headliner (will be replacing that), and some light general wear- I think it looks pretty good for a 10 year old Jeep.
I'm trying to slug my way through learning about lifts, etc. Had some questions and am trying to research them to make sure I can afford everything that is actually going to be needed.
I look forward to getting this going.
