ignore this for now. I was told that I shouldn't be posting any questions in here so I will update this once my friends at midsouthjeeps help me decide on what lift kit, parts, etc. I'll post a starting out photo once the new parts start to arrive and we're ready to start installing.

- on 2nd thought, I'll just lurk. I had some honest questions about the lift I'm thinking of ordering, and have already done a few small things to my XJ. I see other build threads with tons of Q's in it, but apparently I didn't reach some basic minimum requirement or something. I wasn't asking technical Q's, just opinions, etc. and I didn't see a category that it fit neatly in other than build thread as I am already working on it. But it got slapped down in 3 minutes flat.

I'll just sit back and watch, as there are some nice people and a lot of good knowledge here.

You really should hold off on making a build thread if you have questions. Thats not really what build threads are for.

Post your questions up in Advanced tech, OEM tech, or Chat depending on the question, and then when you start working, post pics and info of your progress. Thats really what a build thread is meant for.
