Default Found a great jeep!

Just recently got a 2001 xj. Right now it only has 16k miles on it! Looks like it just came out of the factory! But unfortunatley I am looking to sell it to buy a different jeep. Talking about it here a little because I haven't been active enough to post in the for sale page yet but I would love for it to go into the hands of one of you guys who really like these jeeps. Also having trouble getting pictures up here at the moment so I'll have to work on that haha

XJ sitting that long.. I looked at a WJ with super low miles. After talkin to the guy, he told me that he bought it for the same reason, low miles. It had issues from sitting still for so long.

Post up pictures. I use photobucket, just open an account, upload pictures, click on the pict, copy the Image link, past it here & picture appears.

Welcome & would love to see Picts of an "almost New" XJ

I am also leery of low mileage older vehicles. They need to be run to keep the seals conditioned and for numerous other reasons.
Still a great find.

It must have been driven just enough to keep it working. Just a couple days after I bought it I drove it from St. Louis to Stillwater, OK (an 8 hour drive) and had no problems at all with it! Well the other jeep I found is a ****** jeepster hurst edition. That jeep is also in very good shape. And for those of you that don't know only 100 of the hurst edition jeeps were ever built! It's not set in stone yet but I'm seriously considering selling mine for that one

As mentioned you need to drive a vehicle a bit to keep everything working right but you never know the whole story. My friend has a Chevy Blazer that only gets about 1,000 miles a year and he drives it 4-5 days a week. You can see his house out the front window of the place we work but he still drives back and forth to work which is only 1/2 mile each way. He lets it warm up completely going and coming though. Then on weekends he switches between driving that or his other car.

If you need to just run off a bunch of replies to any and everything in order to get the number of posts you need to to sell something
