Hey everyone.
I just "aquired" an 87' 4 door.
It didn't run, had no seats, rear door struts were bad, ignition cylinder was broke, bad turn signal switch... an....
Anyway... Current plan is to make a driver/trail rig out of it. I play in the desert as often as possible, and already have a buggy project... but maybe this thing will convince me to build a Cherokee Prerunner?
Thanks ahead for all the info and advice.
Danny

Body isn't bad at all. There is one dent in the passanger door.... and the fenders have been "moved" by the 31's... but otherwise... No rust. It actually looks alright when its been rained on... maybe I can just wet the paint everytime I drive it?
The better looking round drivng lights were rolling around inside the cab when I got the truck home... So I stuck them on... but we can add "electrical grimlins" to the list, as I have intermittant power to the switch, and no power to the lights themselves... (yea, this'll be an adventure)
The PO "built" that rear bumper... it aint staying long... In fact, if I ever start bending tube for this thing it may be the first thing to go.
I did aquire these. I owe my neighbor some fab work on his buggy... but I was gunna do that anyway I did up some quickie adapters to mount them onto the stock power tracks. Unfortuneately, these are the source of the cat **** smell that the interior has... hopefully that'll be remidied today...
Now that my intro has bordered on beginnings of a build thread.....

Thanks for making me feel welcome guys.
I went ahead and bit the bullet on a build thread. Not much yet... but rumor has it that some shackles, shocks, an 2" spacers are enroute. (The spacers will most certainly be left off in favor of some springs but... long story short, PARTS ARE A COMING)
