Hello everyone,

I just wanted to say hey and introduce the new beast. I found a 1985 Jeep Cherokee Turbo Diesel 129K miles. This thing is amazing AC even blows ice cold. 3 owner, body has surface rust but thats it, frame rails are solid.

I found it and just had never seen anything like it anywhere so I had to get, my buddy and I went halves on it just for fun. It runs like a top and starts right up.

I am just curious on any information on these things, I am taking it that they are pretty rare, considering I've spent hours on the net searching and have yielded very little results.

What did I find myself guys? Any info?

Thank you guys, I got it for $2K, wasn't sure what it was worth due to not being able to find any being sold anywhere on eBay or anything. I am not sure if I want to keep it because it is so rare, lol. I don't really want to mess with it all too much, might just decide to sell it to someone that might want to restore it and keep it or someone that has had one that is familiar with these motors. I can tell you that I love driving it though and it pulls it's weight rather well. 3rd gear seems to be the power gear for getting up to speed.
