Excited to get mine, it will be motivation for me to get the rest of a CB set up going. If I want to run a spring, what exactly will I need? Antenna + spring, then do I need a stud mount?

I don't know exactly what it's called.. (maybe it's called a stud mount? ) * but yes... You'll need the mount itself the spring/antenna and then the little fitting that the spring/coax will go into.

That's actually the same exact setup I went with. I have a 3ft firestik antenna. Works awesome and I haven't even tuned it yet I'm very happy with it. Can wait to get the mount in. I have it rigged up there with a flat piece of aluminum bolted to what's supposed to be mirror mount lol

Would it be possible for you to make one of these for a ZJ? I can get you pictures of the tail light and gap if needed

Got my mount yesterday and put it on today. A couple tweaks and it was perfect. Just wanted to say thank you!

Anyone looking I definitely suggest this mount. You won't be disappointed.

I'm going to put it a spring in between the mount and the antenna, not because I don't think the mount is sturdy enough. Because it definitely is but I need more height to get my swr to match. Don't worry about strength with this mount. You'd have to really try to break this thing off.
