i was in my Buddy's grand Cherokee yesterday and noticed the center console lid has cup holders.
It looked like you could probably pull the Cherokee lid off and swap in the zj one. anyone ever do this? I'm gonna go to the junkyard tomorrow and test out my theory.

I picked a lid up at the PnP today.
It is about 2" wider than the XJ one and will require some light fab work if you'd like to attach it to the console with something more than self threading screws through thin plastic (Which I am sure plenty will chime in and say works just fine).

Yea it is a little wider but looks like it belongs. If you look at the back the hindge( not on the lid side) is actually attached to metal and you can just use the zj hindge and drill new holes. I couldn't find a tan one so I'm gonna wait to do it. The latch my take some fabing.
