This is SWEET! The only tricky part is that these are seeming kinda hard to find ...Not ONE on Ebay!! I guess its off to the junkyard...

i would keep the original xj console lid...

I agree - that is why I sold mine.

The cup holders in my 1997 are fine.

Hey sorry to open a somewhat old thread but drew what year lid did you use from a zj. It looks like a good idea for the extra height and the rear cup holders are a cool extra

if my xj was 97+ than i would agree. whats the point you already have cup holders but I think you are forgetting us with older Cherokees dont really have any good ones.
the add on that goes above and blocks the ebrake or the one that falls off every time the passenger hits it with their leg are the other options

or swapping entire 97+ center console and relocating the ebrake
