Default sway bars

i had the rough country quick discos on my xj although there not so quick. but one day i was doing a very light wheeling trip and when i got home i noticed the bolt on the top of the sway bar was broken and the other sway bar was bent. any suggestions for a better set of quick discos? and did this happen because they were connected?

This happend to me too, my passenger side mount on the axle got bent, and it lost a bolt awhile back too, now the bolts are welded so they don't come off, but it's a light enough weld so I can hit it with a pick and it'll come off when I replace then soon with JKS ones.

Its so random that i ran into your post today, because just earlier i was at the 4 Wheel Parts store ordering that same bolt you are talking about.. Except mine broke a couple of years ago and i said screw it and took the whole damn thing off (kinda fun driving with no swaybars!).
Anyway as im standing there waiting for the guy to order it i sat the links next to eachother on the counter and sure as **** one was adjusted longer than the other.. might not have been your problem but diffidently worth checking! if one is longer than the other it will put more stress on the one that isnt adjusted properly and eventually SNAP.
hope this helps!
