I used 95 chevy 2wd front hoses. They're like 6 inches longer and you slide the mounting bracket on the hose up and you can still use the stock "frame" mount. Ill post the p/n if you need them. And the rear I used a 93 yj hose bout 4" longer also.

Sounds good, i already ordered dakota lines for the rear
just go to the parts store and order brake hoses for a 1995 jeep yj.
If you want a part number, go to www.rockauto.com and search for brake hoses for a 95 yj. You will get part numbers for every company that makes them.

Agreed. I just ordered YJ brake hoses from an online parts warehouse for like $12 each. They fit perfectly and work great. Perfect matches with almost exactly 3 inches more in length.

Right, front and rear. What U can do is an eBay search for YJ brake hose and then use google to go back and confirm the part numbers because the left and right front hoses r different and the pictures might not match the actual part number. Good luck!

If I am running a 2 or 3" drop on the hard lines up front then I don't see why they would not work on a 3" lift without relocating the hard lines

I mean the c1500 lines are 6" longer, plus I am running at least 2" lower on the hard lines, that is at least 8" of additional brake line if you think about it, on 5" of lift, no contact issues
my thought here is I would rather have a line that is a bit 'too long' than to short and have it hanging the axle up on articulation.
I don;t know about your Jeep but my Jeep has way more downward flex than the factory had intended, that tells me I need lines that are longer than the total ammount of lift

Just saying, just because they work for you, doesn't mean they will work for everyone.
If all he needs is the few inches more than stock than achieved by the yj lines, then those will work just fine for him. No reason to have a ton of extra brake hose bouncing around.
I run the chevy lines you are talking about, with a couple of my suspension and wheel/tire setups I had to use small bungee cords to tie them out of the way so they didn't make contact with the tire while turning at ride height. I generally ran a low ride height with lots of droop.
