Default xj steering funny after flexing

hey guys, i have a 2000 xj and never really flexed it out since i bought it (it was bought lifted already) so i pulled the quick discos and was messing around on this big dirt pile that is at my work. and everything was fine until i went to go home. Now when i steer on the steering return the wheel doesnt like to come back to straight very easy and it feels like it has a dead spot in it.. like a knotchy feeling if you can imagine that. i mean i think it may have just thrown the alignment off alittle or somthing but it drives straight still and has no vibrations... though i was stuck in 4wd at first but hit some loose ground and was able ot brake lock it and only rear spun... so i dont know im kinda stumped as to what i did to it. its drivable its just annoying. if anyone has had the same problem and knows what it could be id really appreciate it. thanks

it could be a bent tie rod, or usually with problems with the wheel returning to center it is wrong control arm length giving incorrect caster. which might mean bent
