Default Xj Steering can of worms

I have a 1999 xj classic on a 6.5” pro comp lift. I just bought it and i want to tighten its steering feel. The steering setup looks like its been untouched and im looking for the best setup available. im looking into the cavfab option but not sure if its the best way to go. I dont want to swap the knuckles to wj but im fine with reaming the ones on there already.

You say steering feel. Can you move ther steering wheel back and forth and nothing happens with the wheels?

You'll want to be mindful of the relationship your steering and track bar have. I bring this up because for your lift going to an Over The Knuckle setup would definitely benefit the steering to do so. Reducing operating angles would be helpful BUT with that it will change the angle of your steering. Both your steering and track bar should run parallel to each other - the closer the actual angle the better! 2nd part do that deal is also length, again the closer in length they are the better. Another note for your steering consideration(s) is your drop pitman arm. I'd argue the closer to factory "drop" the better as well. Its not uncommon for some folks out there to remedy their track bar/steering angle difference with a drop pitman arm and while yes that a simple solution Its not soo much the better/best option. Adding a longer "drop" to your pitman arm only increases the forces and stress put on your steering box and unibody. Also adds deflection that will result in less effect on steering.
