Best heavy duty steering set up
Hey guys so I have a 4.5 inch lift with 33s and really want to know if I should get a beefier steering set up. I heard of a 1 ton steering and a knuckle over steering. I don't really know much about them but wondering whats the best brand and what works the best for a daily driver and rock crawling.

I'm very happy with the serious offroad 1 ton steering. It's not bolt on, but 1 ton steering is the best setup without having to fabricate anything. I have a reamer I'd loan out as well if you are interested.

I love my serious 1-ton, I was stuck between serious and currie, I went with serious because it gets rid of the inverted y setup. Inverted y should of never been put on a jeep. My $.02

If you plan on wheeling hard i would go over the knuckle. which one you should buy? Iam really not sure. What i do know is if you wheel your jeep hard on rocks any y link set up you buy will only hold up for so long. I put a solid piece of stainless steel through my rr y link set up after i bent the tie rod bar. Holding up to alot of abuse for now. If you go Y link i woluld buy currie or rustys.

The type of steering has nothing to do with strength. You can buy inverted t setups that will bend/break before certain inverted y setups
