I got the FST crossover and track bar, figured easier to go that way than get a different track bar and risk bad steering angles. It does requre work to install, and when I dealt with them (along with a few other stories I heard) FST is slightly lacking in the communication department, and it took 6 weeks to arrive. They may have gotten their act together since then though.
Its a great kit, insanely beefy and it drives great with it

Also consider the Serious Offroad kit. Great quality product and the best customer service you could ask for

I will also recommend serious. My one-ton kit is beefy, and Frank is a great guy to work with, always there if you need some help.

so with the fst you need the crossover and the track bar flip tab to weld on top of axle the serious off road comes with a direct bolt up and the jcr is equally comparable

The serious kit, you either need to drill out knuckles and pitman to 7/8, or ream. There is no dead spots in steering, maybe Ohio could comment more on the JCR, but from what I heard, it has some deadspot, but I have never ran it so can't guarantee that.

I wouldn't run a 7/8" heim on my D30 knuckle. That's weakening it a good bit. 5/8 isn't too bad but 7/8 is a bit much.

Communication is virtually none. I would have rather lit that money on fire.

It is a lot, when it breaks, wj conversion, but so far I have bashed rocks, hard turns in and on rocks with front locker on, and it has held.

I just bought this one. Waiting for the UPS guy any day.

There are A LOT of options when it comes to steering kits. Requirements I had given my fab skill level.

1. UTK because I didn't want to move the trackbar bracket.
2. Must be adjustable without needing to make a full rotation and without popping a TRE.
3. Option for drilling and inserts instead of tapered ream.
4. Ready to go kit. Links already cut and welded.

Serious satisfied all these.

I also liked the Ruff Stuff but decided cutting and welding was doable but more than I wanted to do.

Its only drilled out to 5/8 for the 7/8 heims. Other than the communication I'd still recommend the FST, as the only comparable one is Ruffstuff's build your own kit
