Why don't you just replace the Tie Rod Ends? Chances are they are Chevy 1 ton TREs. Pretty cheap and readily available, and a lot cheaper than buying a whole new steering.

Instead of correcting his misspelled word and just genuinely being a douche, read the post in it's entirety before posting your absolutely useless response. Thanks.

they are both 99.8% the same. if one has a dead spot on your set up, so will the other. i know JCR ships spaces with theirs, idk if frank does too. the tie rod roll is just what happens with inverted T.Originally Posted by SoCalxJ4.0

I've heard the same, but JCR now offers the poly spacers to help clean up the issue.Originally Posted by SoCalxJ4.0

Alright so besides everybody asking why im replacing it. Today i got it all together. Got the TREs from Autozone. bought poly spacers from tacoma screw, for the roll.
And the whole reason I like the Y setup is because it feels more responsive. My previous XJ had the Stock set up, with reinforcement on the steering box only. It had 8 inch short arm lift. and it drove great with sway bars connected.

Unless the PO really did a crappy job on it, once you change the tres you'll change your mind. From a geometric, mechanical, and theoretical standpoint the Y is extremely inferior

and the only reason I ask about a different company is because i have never swapped to 1 ton before. so I have no knowledge of the products or companies. or specs at all really
A crossover handles much better on the street than the stock inverted YOriginally Posted by Gimmy
the set up on there is warn out and needing new Tie rods. and since this will be more daily then off-road, I figure just go back to stock design for handling.
