Default Wrangler coils on an Xj?

hey dudes, i picked up on a pair of 3" fabtech lift coils for free from my friends house, i was stoked cuz i thought they were for my cherokee. He then tells me that they were off a wrangler.....so before i start wrenching away at my front suspension, do any of you guys know if i can fit wrangler lift coils on my xj?
thanks

Front coils will work, it's what I'm running, but you won't get as much lift as stated. Mine are 8" and I get about 6" out of them and they are way softer than XJ coils.

I'm running Old Man Emu coils from a Wrangler. The guy I bought them off of told me they were Medium "weight" for 2 inches on his Wrangler. I doubt he was correct, I managed to get 2.5" out of them so I think they were 3 inch to begin with...works great though!

ok cool, im just still a little concerned because these wrangler coils look bigger in diameter then my xj coils, anybody had problems with the wrangler coils rubbing on the frame of the xj?

Just to be sure...these were off the front of a Wrangler...right? The rear coils are much wider and a lot shorter. Otherwise, yea no rubbing issues.
