Im replacing uca bushings on my dana 30 axle and read that wj bushings are an upgrade to xj bushings. Is this true and if so does anyone have the correct part # ? Thanks

I believe the upper bushings are the same. The lower bushings are an upgrade.

Obviously, you have to replace the entire lower arm as the bushing is shaped totally different.

Unless you plan to use the WJ arms too (Which work fine with a little modification.) then you can go with Moog XJ bushings.

I spent about 60 bucks the pair of lower WJ control arms and made the modifications. I noticed a pretty significant improvement in ride quality.

Thank you, Captain. I am aware that he was initially was referring to the upper bushings.

I was elaborating on the lower bushings since I don't have helpful information on the upper bushings.

I'd be more concerned with the condition of the lower bushings more so than the uppers.

For an upper bushing I'd just replace with an OEM style Moog bushing.

Anytime, Chief.

I was simply saying it because I didn't see an answer, and I was also curious.
