Default wiring 97+ power mirrors into a 96

i'd like to know if it would be a pretty straigh forward job to wire 97 heat/power mirrors. actually only the driver side really, so we can already forget about wiring to the passenger side. also it might be useful to say that my 96 doesn't have power anything.

i got myself a pair of 97+ mirrors. since they came from 2 different XJs, only the driver side is heated so I thought why not try to hook it up since it would be useful in the winter around here (and while I'm at it try to make the directions work too)

would it be as simple as getting the old switch, figuring out a mouting location on the door and supplying a 12v power source?

Here is information on the connectors.

i tried looking around the forums but didn't find any info, so if a write up exists about this, let me know, I'll happily follow it! thanks
