Where is your cb mounted?

Just picked up a compact cb radio ill be installing into the jeep soon, trying to get a feel for how you guys have gone about mounting them, i know they usually get up installed around the pass. side inner footwell... show pics please
I dont have pics but mounted mine to center console on passenger as far forward as I could faceing up. Mine is a full size unit also and wife doesnt complain about it. I use a K30 magnet mount ant.

i have an overhead console in my limited, if thought about toying with the idea of mounting it where the garage door opener and sunglasses holder are, not sure yet though, thats why im trying to get some ideas

That's where I mounted mine. I love the location but the face sits back to far. You can't see the screen of it while driving. Other than that, I think it's out of the way and serves its purpose. I ran all the cords and wires above the headliner.
