Where to mount switch on dash?
Hey guys I'm just wondering where you all have mounted your switches for auxiliary lighting? I have a 2001 Cherokee limited. Any ideas are appreciated, thanks!

I can't take credit for it but I put three switches in the gear indicator plate just to the right of the shifter. I don't have pics of mine but the pic gives you the idea.

I guess it depends on how many switches you want, and how big they're going to be. I love the switches on the gear shift cover. I've seen guys integrate the switches into the OHC on the Limited, and I've also seen custom switch boxes mounted between the sun visors. Another option is to the right of the instrument cluster.

x2 on the right hand side on gauge cluster. Or to be trick, put one or two in the astray, if equipt/not used.. Being able to hide the switches is classy.. Idk, my 02..

mine (front trail lights and bright *** back up light that is no longer with us) are to the left of the steering wheel, below the headlight switch about where the top of my shin sits...its conveinient, however i tend to kick them on whenever i get in and out of the jeep, and with my new hellas, i cant see my lights shine through the black covers haha...that's why i have an optima red top

I used the 3 switch factory bezel (where the rear defrost and wiper switch are) and found an 97-01 XJ look alike switch on ebay that locks right in to the one that was empty. Looks factory. -Works great.

Switches for the air lockers
Switches for fog lights. Daystar vent mount for jeep TJ.
I figured the ARB lockers wouldnt be used unless in 4WD so the position in front of the shifter is perfect. Also i didnt want to cut much up in my 99 and have it look tacky so i am VERY happy with the vent mount switches.
