Question Wheel question

so the door sticker on my xj says i have 15x7 wheels, i have the 235..... size tires that came on it and i want to buy new wheels, but i can only find 15x8. can i use the 15x8 wheels with the tires i have now even though its an inch wider? they still have a lot of tread on them and i dont feel like buying new tires just so i can have new wheels.

thanks!

those would look great and the back spacing is how much the offset the rim has
if u have 0 back spacing on a rim the tires will stick out about as much as the back spacing is,the more the back spacing, the more the tires will stick out

no, stock is either 5 or 5.5 (im not sure) but if stock was 5.5 and you got 4.75 it would stick out .75 more inches. but also since they are an inch wider they will stick out another inch. so potentially they'll stick out 1.75 inches. (assuming stock is 5.5)
